instead of buying cooling fans, how about just putting PC in a $90 Sanyo fridge?

I was getting some new fans for my PC.(CPU fan, system fan, power supply fan, etc, etc...) Yes, I was looking at some of those fancier fans. When I looked at my shopping cart, the total was nearly $60, plus shipping.

What if I just go out an buy a small 4 cubic-feet fridge and
put my PC inside? I bought one made by Sanyo from my
local Best Buy last year. It was only $90(plus tax) during
a sale. I use it in my basement to keep cans of soda.(okay,
    also beers)

My PC is also in the basement and it's currently behind
    a filing cabinet anyway...

    Is this a stupid idea???

I would be worried about condensation also. But consider this: you could mount a web cam in there and we could all know once and for all if the light actually goes out when the door is shut.

this thread started out silly and off topic and has gone downhill at an ever increasing rate of speed(acceleration)!
