Memory upgrade?

I got one with my 1655 but it is only 40 ( two together like the dell have) I dont know if this is 80?

also my hard drive only have 3 slot the middle for the modem, which one is not the top one how would I know?

if it came with the 1655 it's good(80 wires) finer and closer together

40 wire is good enough for 16x reads or writes, dma 2 or 33MB/s

80 wire is 5-10% faster
