video rotating

can anybody give me a program that i can use to rotate my video 90° or 270° please,
I already tried a lot of programs, but when the video is 640X480 for example, after rotation, its stil 640X480 (instead of 480X640), so the video image is rotated but is just transformed: its wider but les high...

avisynth turnleft() or turnright(), frameserve to application of your choice

thanks, I already knew virtualdub, I tried it, but when you rotated it,
you can only save it in .avi, and this causes that my mpeg file from 6MB
becomes an avi file from 450MB and when I convert it again in
.wmv or .mp(e)g my videopicture becomes square again instead of
480(wide)X640(high) so my problem isn't really solved, I'll try the second
program mentioned, but i'm afraid it'll be the same problem

you're resizing the video in the second conversion-- don't.
