We could take a look at the system bus(aspi type drivers running) and try to fix it. If you've hosed windows it won't work.

this seems to be a computer issue, thread moved

dvd43 is a prime suspect in the homicide investigation

drastic measures were already reccomended, maybe a half measure might work

Microsoft support is here to help you with Microsoft products. Find how-to articles, videos, and training for Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, Windows, Surface, and more.

might even run windows as a repair disk

uninstall dvd43, then use the link from microsoft to remove it from the lower filters

or take it to a shop

I don't think that dvd43 is the problem because I had this on my PC for a while and used CDex. Why would it give me a problem now?

it's a simple matter to clean all them up and test to see if your problem disappears, you can always reinstall the programs one by one and test inbetween.

Have you tried running windows as a repair disk?

I'm scared I might lose all my work I have on my hard drive.

It's a repair operation, not a clean install, I have done it many times, a few times it fixes the problems, it never has hosed data or other programs, you do lose all windows updates.

mattcharles, you can't have your cake and eat it too.
It was suggested that you do a clean install of windows, that is always the best option. Most experienced users don't hose their OS but every so often
they clean install just because after enough time windows becomes corrupt.
