Great....but where do I save this a187 too?

the desktop is where I save it of course my desktop is way too messy when
safe mode blows it up and icons disappear off the edge

I use it too...I just thought I had to drop this upgrade into a certain program like Nero....and Nero downloaded fine...my old serial number comes up automaticallly.....I will try a dvd later.....thanks again for all the help....

it's always safer to flash(upgrade) firmware from safe mode

afaik, I am the only one who reccomends it over here, senior burner mods at cdfreaks use it a lot but it all depends upon your drivers and programs running in the background


more advanced users I don't worry about

i haven't flashed that much in my tenure, i'm sure it's a good practice too, but i've never done it from safe mode. lucky maybe.
