How to delete a service?

I installed the F@H console and messed up and said for it to run as a service.

Now, I can stop and disable the service, but how do I actually get rid of it for my services list?

All help greatly appreciated.

Never mind. For those who are interested:

Regedit → HKLM → System → Current Control Set → Services

Delete the key
Reboot.

you could as well go this way:

start => run => services.msc


and just in case you ever want to easily start and stop a service every once in a while and dont want to go to services =>

open notepad and type in:

net start "name of service"

or

net stop "name of service"


(dont forget the quotation marks!)

save this text to a file and use the extension .BAT or .CMD

the start.cmd or stop.bat can now be used as executable files
