computer parts - need advice

about to purchase parts for a computer for my little brother....
Your opinion is important to me please let me know what
you all think of these parts put together?

asus a8n sli deluxe motherboard
athlon 64 4200+ dual core ADA4200BVBOX
kingston hyper x KHX3200AK2/1G
lg dvd rw GSA-H10N-BK
seagate barracuda 160 GB hd 7200.9 sata2 w/ncq, 8mb cache ST3160812AS

He'll mostly use it for games, some photoshop, and hopefully for school. and if he doesn't

the asus a8n sli series is a nice board (using one myself for more than a year) - would buy another one any time

- the x2 4200 dual core has an excellent value for money and it's definitely a good choice

- i personally would buy more than 1gig of ram
photoshop works better with 2 gig than 1 and many recent games do profit from more than 1gb of ram as well!

- lg makes fine drives (though i have only NEC in my pcs)

- concerning the seagate: i'd rather buy the samsung Spinpoint P120 series like a 250gb SP2504C (but stay away from the 300gb or more models/Spinpoint T-Series, which is way slower!) - the sp2504c is one of the best drive of its kind!
