My son frequents gaming forums where they exchange humourous stuff, pranks, etc. One of these pranks is to enter the word "officially" into a google search.
EDIT: This is not a "prank", but rather a configuration problem with my system settings!
WARNING: Don't do it!!!
He did it, & now whatever I try, I cannot remove that entry from the I.E. address bar. Every time I type in a google address, or anything with a "G", that entry appears in the dropdown list. I erased all temp/history/autocomplete/ everything. Also ran CCleaner, & it is still there. Any ideas on how to rid this entry, other than a sys. restore?
thanks, katz
