Question on raid setup

Chewy I know that you will know the answer to this question. On a Hp Pavillion Xp788, when replacing a raid hd do you have to use the same manufacturer and size or can you use a different drive but the same size.

I didn't think that box came with any raid capabilities?

anything that old I wouldn't think of pairing a new hard drive with an old anyway

the deathstars broke us on raid, next system my buddy built he used hitachi

lost all their tax records, irs was not happy
