Well I did buy one a few months back, because I was able to get a brand new, never opened 60gb PS3 for $450. So I saved about $200 and got a blu ray player for about half price. Other than for that, I too probably would have gone for a very long time without it or a blu ray player.Comment

I got mine at launch got a couple of games and more Blu-ray flicks already for it i been playing the most time online games like Untold Leyends - Dark Kingdom, Resistance & Formula 1. i wish i had more time to play it more though.Comment

In between my Wii, Xbox 360, and the HD DVD add-on drive I plan to buy for it, I don't really see the point of the PS3, especially for games. There aren't any games that I play that won't be on the Xbox 360, unlike the old days with PS2 exclusive releases. I would just like to take this moment to say that Crackdown on the Xbox 360 is awesome!
Maybe I'll get one for Blu-ray testing, but I'll probably just get a standalone dual format player when it's a bit more affordable.Comment
