Firewire Card

I bought a new PC over a month ago and I saw something interesting. I have a different kind of USB socket that doesn't always come with every PC but that kind of USB comes as part of a Firewire card. Is there a way to find out if my PC came with a Firewire card? I can test my camcorder on it because my camcorder needs repairs.
