I was wondering if there was a recommended setting for the DVD upscaler.Right now I have it set at normal.Should it be at Double scale,Full Screen or Normal ?

I think is should be normal, otherwise you might get aspect ratio problems with movies that are not exactly 16:9. Normal scales to the currently set PS3 resolution, double just doubles the width and height while maintaining the proportions, while full screen will just fill your screen with the picture irregardless of the aspect ratio. -

However, upscaling, as it is currently implemented, cannot convert standard DVD images into true high-definition images. In fact, although upscaling works well with fixed pixel displays, such as Plasma and LCD televisions, results are not always consistent on CRT-based high definition televisions.Comment
