    DVD Upscaler

    I was wondering if there was a recommended setting for the DVD upscaler.Right now I have it set at normal.Should it be at Double scale,Full Screen or Normal ?

    I think is should be normal, otherwise you might get aspect ratio problems with movies that are not exactly 16:9. Normal scales to the currently set PS3 resolution, double just doubles the width and height while maintaining the proportions, while full screen will just fill your screen with the picture irregardless of the aspect ratio.

        Just wanted to add...
        However, upscaling, as it is currently implemented, cannot convert standard DVD images into true high-definition images. In fact, although upscaling works well with fixed pixel displays, such as Plasma and LCD televisions, results are not always consistent on CRT-based high definition televisions.
        From About.com I don't have a DVD player capable of upscaling yet, heck, I'm still using a 1995 Sony Trinitron 32"!

          From what I have been reading people seem to love Yellow Dog Linux on the PS3 .I want Linux on my PC and PS3 so bad but I have to wait till I get a HS connection
