Strange error I cant get rid of no matter what?

Hello everyone,
There is this strang error that keeps popping up on my computer about ever 5 minutes or so and its driving me nuts. I have been cleaning my pc with everything and it wont do away.

Here is a pic of that error if anyone know how to make it go away that would be wonderful.

yeah clean browser cache, any temp files, incase ur not browsing and it still comes check regedit ..> run for anything u dont want there. otherwise sys restore

I had that happen to me once.

photo_angel, does it ever pop up like 5-10 times and not go away? It once got so bad here that I literally had to disconnect my Internet for it to stop.

Not to be pessimistic, but the only thing I could get to work was totally reformatting my hard drive. And this is where USB drives and Windows partitons pay off, it was no big deal at that point

Chewy, do you know what program actually causes errors like that? I think I have something similar now (only instead it happens when I click on AVI files, regardless if I downloaded them or encoded them myself)... and with all the Giveaway of the Day stuff I'd really hate to reformat.

4. Look for the "Disable script debugging" line and put a check mark in the box.

5. Now look for the "Display a notification about every script error" line and remove the check mark in the box.

Or you could just use Firefox.

Since I now I am clean of virus or adware or spyware or any of that I will try this thanks soup.

With repeated infections, windows and IE get more and more corrupt, I am still finding a few orphan entries from an infection I had over a month ago, it's essential that you keep uptodate patches and even repairs on your computer. The system file checker is turning into a vista like tool with windows xp, you used to have to have the windows cd in, it's doing more and more without it now.

This is one of the times I would consider SP3 to fix errors if you can ever get a clean boot w/o all that crap everyone wants to run nowdays

On my old PC, I updated IE to version 7 under XP home. That's when the trouble started. Had constant errors of every kind, including script errors. Started using Firefox, never went back.

On the new PC, it has IE 6. I occasionally use IE because some sites require it. No problems with IE 6, or Firefox.

Just give Firefox a try, you'd be surprised how many annoyances go away when you do.
