reading the Vdimm is nearly impossible on most computers, I just check out the 12 volt and 5 volt rails

Voltage Values:
CPU Core 1.44 V
+3.3 V 3.22 V
+5 V 5.08 V
+12 V 12.10 V

if they are strong then I assume the ram is getting enough power

Thanks Chewey/Blu. Everest says voltages are all OK. While waiting for replacements am running on old reserve 245 mb stick, painfull !! (had to return both 1GB sticks as matched pair.)
