What happened to McAffee suite free

Just a couple of days ago I saw a deal for free McAffee suite posted by Admin. Anybody know what happened to it.

Yes, CheckFree's payment system was hacked, and some customers had malware installed onto their computers. So they offered these customers free McAfee for a year, but CheckFree made a mistake again of using a voucher code instead of some private offer, and so the code ended up everywhere. They'll no doubt have to pay McAfee for every use of the code, so they started sending out emails somewhat "threatening" websites to not post the code or users to not use the code (legal action, you could be charged for the full price, blah blah blah).

The code is still widely available on the net though, so do a search if you want to take the chance. I know I won't be taking a chance with CheckFree's services, that's for sure.
