In trouble again, can not install a program that I need

    Hello everyone,
Since I have re-installed windows I have seemed to have had 0 problems until tonight.

I have tried to instal the Mavis Beacon Tying Deluxe and I can not install it.

I have tried on 2 different drives and no go on either of them although my burner gives me an erro I have pictured with this post. I am hoping that someone can help me with this one as I am stumped on how to install this to my pc and am now wondering how many other games and or programs will not install now.

    thanks

Could be, also if anything is afraid to reply thinking this may or maynot be a downloaded program .. its not.

This is a totally legit legal paid $45.00 for from best buy.

I just trying to instal adobe photoshop to this pc since the new HD and fresh install of windows and it to will not install at all not even start to.

If anyone has any ideas that would be wonderful.

        Thanks,

I am stumped I have been working an a different computer to see if I can make it crash when loading programs. I can't get it to do what is happening to you, so I am not sure what to do. Maybe a registry problem. Or if you can you, need zero out the hard drive then reload the OS and then the software. I guess I am lucky that I have not had that much software problems.

Oh there has got to be a way to fix I am so not wanting to reload windows all over again. LOL

            Thats never fun.

Just for a test I took the program/game over to a friends house and it installed without a problem on her pc also windows XP.

The pc doesnt really crash out it just doesnt install at all the pop ups come up but otherwise runs fine.
Some programs not a problem to install.

There are so many programs I use or have used I have not install or tried to install all of them yet, just not enough time so far.
I wonder how many more programs this will happen with.

I know that it really does not crash. It will not load the program. When you have time try loading other programs and see if they will load.

I even tried pasting in the html url into the browser and got nothing. Bizarre. Only thing I can think of is there may be a Miscrosoft Install Cleanup tool for XP. When I first got Vista, programs installed, but then when I ran them again, they asked if I wanted to install. I had to run the installer clean-up tool. I suspect this may be a reason why I couldn't put SP1 on either, but I'll never know for sure.

Yeah, it was just NoScript. Didn't allow enough stuff.

No power outage but the problem is finally solved I was searching many many threads and posts and I found something interesting that blutach had siad in a thread about Glary Utilities and that was the one that solved the issue at least so it seems for now.

I have other reg. cleaners but this one picked up on something all the other ones missed. The typing program is now installed. My son needed to use it for some practice and more work on passing a typing test in school so all seems to be well for now.

Thanks for all that read and tried.
