    Can send, not receive

    All of a sudden I cannot receive any mail, can send, everyone that e-mails
    me says they get a notification that __kinjt@comcast. is not a valid address,
    the first three letters are not coming up in the receive mail, my full
    address is xyz@comcast.net.

      i have edited the shown mail address just to make sure it will not end up being scammed

        Have you tried calling Comcast?
        Also, if you don't want to sit on eternal hold with Comcast, you may want to copy all the setup for the email account (ie pop3 incoming/outgoing addresses, port etc) then delete and rebuild the account within your mail application.
