Installing ver 1.1

When i installed 1.1 i didnt uninstall 1.0 , when it was installing i got a option about useing img burn, to burn instead ,or somthing about files, im not sure what it said now, bad memory ,i should have wrote it down but i didnt, but what ever it was i l said yes. Oh it also said somthing about getting a better burn, does anyone know what im talking about

Could it be that the installer asked you if you wanted to kill the file associations with DVD Decrypter and use ImgBurn instead as default burner for those image types?

Yes i think thats what it was, what does that mean,? i thought it would bring up imgburn automaticly say like when i use shrink.

what it has done is , when you right click on an iso for example, you get a window that says 'burn using imgburn' instead of 'burn using dvd decrypter'
as for launching imgburn after shrink, try searching this forum for it (life?), there is a sticky about it at the imgburn forum http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=131

No, to call up DVD Decrypter is hard coded in DVD Shirnk and can't be changed without dvdshrink involved.

I nice new feature in ImgBurn is the burning queue function. Output your shrunken files from DVD Shrink to an .iso file and then load up all those images into the queue function in ImgBurn and burn them in a row.

Allright thanks ,Cynthia and cornholio7, i learned somthing today. I never tryed to right click on an iso, will have to try it out,and Cynthia thanks for being there when i need help you have a friend in Pa allways.PS cornholio7,(life?), yep, somthing happened when i tryed to reg. said it was allready used.

I set up my shrink to open a renamed imgburn automatically. Works great. I just tricked shrink into thinking it was opening the DVDdecrypter.exe by renaming a copy of the imgburn.exe.

I renamed the actual DVDdecrypter.exe something else.

do i need to uninstall version 1 of imgburn before installing the newer version or can i just install it over top of it.
