ImgBurn Failing to write to DVD-r discs

I just start using ImgBurn to burn my ISO files from Multi-Shrink / DVD shrink. I only have about a 20% success rate!! I used to burn with Nero6 as DVD files.

My burner is an LG gsa 4163 version A105. DMA is enabled. This FUJIFILM03 (8X) is being burn at 4X.

I have about 95% success with Nero burning and verifying.

Attached is my log from my last failed burn when it failed to get by the lead-in.

Were there scratches on the disc? That can cause a bad burn.

No there was no scratches on the disc. There is a burn ring (very small) about 2 millimeters from the inner edge of the metal inside the DVD

post a nero log and maybe we'll find out why you are
having problems with both programs

If he burned with ImgBurn, why would he have a Nero log?

The burn ring is normal for all burned discs, so that is not the problem.

Will do. Give me about an hour. Gotta change it from ISO to DVD files with shrink first. Then stop it. Then open the dvd files with Nero Express and verify it. Thanks

and dvd43, both need to be manually started not autoloading

I have Nero Drive speed come on every time I start my computer. If I don't, I find my drives will not read at MAX but at the last speed when I turned off my computer.

Note: I had DVD43 off and on and it did not affect the success or failure of a disc.

I will now turn off Nero Drive Speed and burn another ISO file and see if this affects it.

I will also turn off DVD43, go offline, and block traffic w/ Nortons
