ImgBurn and NEC 3550A

Just bought a NEC ND 3550A yesterday. Updated to official Firmware 1.06. When I try to bitset DVD+R to DVD-Rom with ImgBurn, it says "Failed!" Neither can I bitset DVD+R or +RW to DVD-Rom via Nero. However, I could bitset DVD+R DL to DVD-Rom via Nero and they are burning fine as DVD-Rom by both Nero and ImgBurn.

What am I doing wrong? THANKS!

NEC firmware will not allow bitsetting. Liggy and Dee's site has the firmware.
