Follow this link as regards NeroInfoTool. Have you checked to see if they are actually Verbatims?

Edit: forget the link Chewy already posted it.

Looks like everything is pointing to a bad batch of Verbatims. I bought a small stack and the same title burned flawlessly. That'll teach me to buy DVD blanks on Ebay...If it looks too good to be true, it is.
