I used RipIt4Me to rip the movie into an ISO file for a 1:1 copy. When I verified it with Imgburn. I'm getting sector errors within the file: Video_TS\Video_TS.VOB. I followed the well put-together animated guide for RI4M down to each click. Does anybody know how to troubleshoot this problem? Thank-you, thank-you.

The DVD disc is an original retail DVD. I ripped the movie onto the hard drive, even used FixVTS to create the VIDEO_TS folder; then Build the ISO file. Now here's my error log out of ImgBurn.

Hi Les,
I've gone through the Golden Rules of Burning but what I could or should have done differently. I tried pasting the RipIt4Me log but it's over 120,000 characters. This post limits the characters to just 15,000. There's got to be another way to post the full log here.Comment

I came across this thread where HelloKitty had the same problem with this movie. Using Shrink, I was able to burn a compressed version and it does playback on the desktop dvd player. However, I wanted a complete copy onto a dual layer. So maybe there's something on the disc that is heavily encrypted (but couldn't be because dvd decrypter, dvd fab decrypter, dvd shrink could all read it). I am lost.

@coastermaker
The RipIt4Me log is useless. It is not causing your burning issues. Put simply, your drive is not reading what it has burned correctly.
A full ImgBurn log wuld be handy. In the meantime, do follow Golden Burning Rules 1-4 especially.
You do not have AnyDVD while burning/verifying on perchance?

Here's the full Imgburn error log. I wanted to verify the ISO before burning it (so I don't add to the stack off expensive coasters that I have already). As for the Golden Rules, my firmware is updated and my DMA is enabled. I even have ResetDMA.vbs that I found through this site. I am starting to think that there's something with this movie...

What media are you using? The movie is irrelevant to the burn. You're just sending the drive some 1s and 0s. Now, you can't verify if you haven't burned. You build and image, OK. Next step, burn it and verify it.
So, burn on a Verbatim DL disk and verify that burn against the image.
Note: If you have built a new image, it will never compare correctly. The areas where you will get verify errors are in the filesystem (first 300 odd sectors), due to time and date for example. You are seeing such errors in this verify. Also, if you have changed where the layer break is, that will show up in the sector pointers in the DVD files.

I am using Memorex DL+R DL. I know that I should be buying Verbatim from here on out. The ImgBurn error log isn't even burning anthing yet. I have the ISO on my hard drive. I only chose Verify (not Write) as a test and that's when these errors came up.Comment

See above edited post - how can you verify against something that is not even burned yet?
Throw the Memorexs away and preserve your hair follicles.

Here are 2 burn error logs (sorry I should have posted these earlier instead of the verify error logs). "Write" didn't go further than a few minutes.
