        before you waste another disk?
just put a blank in and copy and paste the right screen with burner firmware and mid code

that burner is pretty old, has it seen a lot of use? The media is ok but
I am surprised that the firmware even burned it close to 6x, retry at 4x or even 2.4. There apears to be a slightly newer firmware(still 2years old)

150B might help, if you do flash use safe mode and make sure the drive is empty

If you look at the pic, the info that was recquired at the time was in the right hand window. You don't need to now but you would copy that info & paste it in a reply post.

Got you now. LOL. Anyway, I updated my firmware and my drive would get to about 86% and freeze up the computer. I couldn't copy and paste the error report. Couldn't even open the internet.

My burner is quite old and has definately seen a lot of use. When I had DVDxCopy running on here I probably burned 200 or 250 movies with it. What about a new LiteOn lite scribe (dual layer/dual format) burner? Any suggestions on that one?

Oh yeah. One other thing. This is the process I use and maybe I'm doing something wrong.

DVDfabDecrypter/DVDShrink set to ISO using Decrypter w/ImgBurn

RipIt4Me or DvdFab Decrypter to rip to your hard drive / Dvd Shrink to make it fit on a single layer blank & create an ISO / burn ISO with ImgBurn.

So, then I take it I am using the correct combo of programs? At least I'm doing that part right. LOL. Anyway, I'm picking up a new burner, but what do you think of the LiteOn that I mentioned? Think it's a good burner?
