If I have movie that is burnt with ImgBurn onto a dvd+r with dvd-rom booktype, how do I do direct copy using ImgBurn? And will it also be in dvd-rom booktype?
Ya know, something like disk on the fly?

There are several ways to do this.
I prefer DVD Decrypter read ISO to HDD.
ImgBurn write ISO to disk.
(still have to book type the new burn)

IMO it is a good safe way without any chance of problems, and it only take 10-15 minutes total depending on read, burn speeds.

Maybe I didnt say it correctly, hopefully this is better, can I copy a copy from one drive to another, with the 2nd copy being a dvd-rom?......ya copy? hahaha

Well since ImgBurn will auto book type now, you won't have to worry about that in any case!

what program should I use to copy it on the fly? My booktype for dvd+r is set to dvd-rom in ImgBurn.

ImgBurn > Source= Drive 1 Destination=Drive 2
(you have to use build mode because the files are read as video ts)

when I select drive 1, its wanting a file, should i open video ts, do i need to open audio ts?

any copy on the fly with any program is a risky proposition, drives should be on seperate cables and with even the best burns as the source disk the burn will never be as fast as from the hard drive.

I once did a 16x cof with nero using a 99QS 8x burn mcc 004 as source disk.
The reader was a new dvdburner. For ordinary cof I use 4x for any disks that
are even slightly used.

seperate cables they are not....don't want to make a mess out of anything.

Just trying to make a cof of a movie that I no longer have the iso for, I can do it thru dvdd and then ImgBurn as Dan stated earlier, without any worries.

You can use the new Read mode to copy it. Read copies it to an ISO.

COF is at your own risk.

I'll try it now, thank you Blu. I'm always tinkering, guess that's how I learn, but I think I'll just leave the cof alone and use the other resources you've all taught me.
