It's probably because I don't burn with ImgBurn unless I'm doing a dual layer disk, but I'm always confused as to why there are two files that are created when I build the file and am never certain which of the two I select when its time to burn -- Fortunately the program is smart enough to let you know when you've selected the wrong file. But how do you tell? They look the same to me in the folder.

I always choose the .mds file for both SL and DL burns...it is basically a set of instructions that tells Imgburn how to burn the disc. It is not needed with SL discs, but is more important when making DL burns because it contains layer break information.

Tell explorer to show you all file extensions and then they won't look the same.Comment
