    I need help..

Alright.. im a noobie at this. I am trying to burn an ISO to a DVD-R. I downloaded ImgBurn and then i realized i have not used my burner in about 5-6 years. On ImgBurn it says i have a, "1:0:0 PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-104." I looked up on firmware for about an hour and it kept giving me errors after i unzipped and attempted to install it. "Hardware revision not matched" "Avaible target is not found" etc.. and i decided i needed to update my firmware because when i used ImgBurn it says "Device not ready (Incompatiable Medium Installed)"

    please help

We need to know the current firmware installed on the drive

In Imgburn go to tools, drive, capabilites

or in write mode the letters and numbers just after the 104 part

might want to check this page out

scroll down a ways, your burner is on there, with info and links to firmware upgrade

you will need to update to 1.41 which will be almost 2 years newer and increase the chances of you finding blanks that will burn, I would stay away from any 16x ones tho.

you must have an oem version of the drive that had special firmware, what is the brand name of your computer if the drive came in it? Are there any special labels onn the drive that might give us a clue?

do you see your computer listed??????
