To check or not to check, that is the?

I have burnt a few DLs, & never really worried about this little box, but tonight for the first time I checked the box. I guess my standalone supports it because it plays with no issues. To check or not to check, that is the question, whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the fact that your terribly expensive DL might not play in your standalone, or to take arms against a sea of doubt, to sleep no more until you know which is the best option?

If you are talking about the seamless box, try it once and see if your disc plays on all your players.

I don't know why I never bothered about it before, but now it just seams right & less wrong.

Exactly what does this setting do? I have been having problems with my DL burns playing on an older player (Panasonic DVD-F65) and I've been trying a number of things.

By checking the seamless box on DL burns, it will mark the IFO files as a seamless joint between cells (and there will not be a hiccup at the layer break). Most players can play this happily, but some can not.
