    XBOX 360: (DeviceIoControl(FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed!

Ok, 2day when I was trying to burn a xbox 360 game it gave me this error message

    (DeviceIoControl(FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed!
    Device: [0:0:0] LITE-ON DVDRW SHM-165P65 MS0R (D (ATA)
Unable to lock volume for exclusive access.
    Reason: Access is denied.

So I continued to burn (that was dumb) and then it had the info on the disk (I could see) but when I put it in the PC it didn't even pick up one file on!

Can someone help me plz!!! I have wasted 2 DVD+R DL disk by this error

P.S - I do not have the log (my bad)

    That error is covered here:

Problem: You get an I/O Error saying 'The Parameter is incorrect'. Answer: In the settings screen, change the 'Transfer Length' option to 'Manual' instead of 'Automatic' and put it on '32 KB' instead of '64 KB'.

That's not going to be the cause of the failures though - not unless the actual burn failed anyway.

Make sure you verify as part of the burn, at least that way you'll know the disc you just burnt matches the original image.

Oh and next time save the log! It does this by default now anyway so I'm not sure why you turned it off - if you haven't, look in the 'Help' menu and you'll see an option to take you to the folder where they live.

Did you read LUK!'s link. IT shows you exactly what the problem is. If you can't figure out what else has "got" your drive, reboot and then burn.
