    Lack of experience

I'm trying to burn an AVI video to a 4.3 gb DVD+R using DVD Flick. On the finalization step, it opened up ImgBurn, and left me on the "Write" step. I have no idea what burner I have, nor my drive type. (Which doesn't really matter, right?) Well, at any rate, on the bottom of the screen I have the message "Device not ready (Medium not present)" How exactly do I fix this?

Also, if this was answered in the sticky, I'm terribly sorry, but I didn't see it.

EDIT: Problem fixed. Can't burn a DVD+R with a drive that is CD-RW, at least that's what I was told in a different support forum. Thanks.

yes it does matter, locate the imgburn.exe in the dvd flick program folder and under help see if it created a log? open imgburn, set it for write mode and see if it sees your blanks

we at least need your burner id and firmware

And that means I can't burn it? Or what?

you have a cd only burner, not a dvd burner

I guess you also have a dvd-rom but that can be a game image mounted?
