I am a toally newcomer to this site, so please excuse my lack of knowledge. If anyone can give some guidance, it's much appreciated.
Four years ago after the San Diego fires, we made DVD copies of our home camcorder Hi8 videos using a Magnovox camcorder (one of the first generation type of recorders purchased from Walmart 2003)designed for this purchase. The DVD's played back fine on that recorder/player and on other DVD players for a while, but now some of them are being rejected by all the DVD players and even our PC as "empty file". How can this be? Is the DVD now no good?.....
thanks for any help
