@Admin: along with having a graphic limit, you should set a character limit too, since mine is getting wild and unruly :-þComment

Was just notified of this new rule but am a bit unclear. Look at the pics in my sig and tell me what I need to do to make them compliant. Am I supposed to make them both 240x50?My Awesome Computer System called Midnight The worth of your opinion is in direct proportion to the number of people who have asked for it. Comment

Yes you do because what happens it makes the site run slower, Also it makes threads load much longer and it makes page length so much longer after you post a couple times in the thread. Please change them to the specified diminsions(sorry about the typo)Comment

Ok. I'm a serious graphics newbie but I dabble a bit. Sorta blindly hehe. Anyway I used Adobe Image Ready 7.0. All I did was load up my original images, change the image size. I changed the settings to no dither and color to auto (This seemed to really shrink the file size for itchy and scratchy).
My problem right now is that the new images seem to have more white than before. Like certain things are outlined in white. For instance, the original itchy and scratchy had black lines to show the movement of their mallets. Now it's a white kinda smudge.
Any help?
Oh and reason I asked about the dimensions is that it seemed to me that by making the images 240x50 I was actually increasing their size. That is what was confusing to me.My Awesome Computer System called Midnight The worth of your opinion is in direct proportion to the number of people who have asked for it. Comment

How can I put links in signatures? How many posts are required before adding links to signatures?Comment

It's alright, this rule is mainly for new users, and the forum prevents signatures anyway until certain conditions are met.Comment
