    I got a virus and i need some suggestions

    I have a virus and when i open my anti virus 2003 it just closes can any one tell me how to either get the virus outa ny comp or tell me how i can get my anti virus to open for a while

        i have horrible terrminalogy what do you mean bye clean and when i boot from the cd will it wipe all my files off my computer?

          by clean they mean take off all the virus'

          no, booting off of the CD will not delete everything

          have you tried a different anti virus program?

            guys all three of you thanks a million for the help and this virus is wrekin my comp and it not a worm my comp
            and no im havnt tried another anti virus program thats alot of money dude and im not pay another 100 bucks for a new one i think this viruses prime target is to get ur anti virus program.

            So just to straighten this thing out u want me to boot to my anti virus cd?

              Well no, there are plenty of antu-virus programs you can download (Norton is one of them, it has a trial).

              yeah, just make a boot disc on a floppy from your anti virus program, reboot, and that should fix it

                  Yeah, or try Panda antivirus (I heard it is one among the best) online scan. It does the full scan, but it might take a while...
                  ...this MIGHT not be the best picture that I have...

                    ok ill try that and i dont need a boot floppy i have norton 2003 and it double as istallation and emergency boot disc and i already did that every thing works fine but norton still wont open.

                          No both norton emergency scan and panda didnt find ****

                          hmm and now it always saying the what ever program i open has cause a illegal operation all the it says explorer has preformed a illegall operation it so wierd nothing works!

                            Well, I think your hard drive content had been mashed up.

                            I suggest you to reinstall your OS and all of your applications again.

                              well becuase i am not will to lose every thing i have lost and i am not going to do that becuase it is a pian to get my internet hooked up cuz i have an old comp and a cable modem so u need to install althis **** and call all this tech support and its a pain in the ass.
