I have comcast.
It was supposed to be $52 a month, but I got a bill today saying:
Monthly Charge: $29.99
Installation Charge: $13.49 (but I paid the guy that installed it $45...)
Taxes: $1.53
So I guess I'm really only paying $30, unless they're giving me a break for my first 3 months
edit >> thx chicken!! I've only been waiting to get cable for, what, 2 years?!?!Last edited by t3ch; 15 May 2003, 01:44 PM.OGSTH! my webpage

It's great. For the first 2 weeks it kinda sucked but I'm told by several people it takes a couple weeks for the cable to steady out.
I had a hiccup problem as well as some speed issues, but everything's been smooth for about a month... My cable roxorsOGSTH! my webpage

Internet speeds are up faster now.
Prices are due to drop for canadians.
DSL is now half the price for 6 months if you sign up with telus in Alberta.
Now you can reach your 5GB Cap in less time!
Also, your ISP can call you saying that you aren't allowed to use P2P networks or FTP/Web servers on your own PC as well as exceeding thier CAPS will mean that your PC will blow up!
Lol. I mean.. maybe they'll stop whining about you actually using thier service to it's FULL potential.
My work got 100Megabit Bigpipe last week from Shaw. Man o man, does it ever ROCK. And the limits they have for up/downlink is in the terrabytes.. I love Cable internet providers for thier insight to newer faster internet. Goodbye DSL!Government throws more money at a problem, so it looks like they are making a difference.Comment
