Future off OGM...

What do you guys think OGM would be in the future... will it be something that din't work out or will it be the replacement of.avi files?

For nearly a year, there has been no development on OGM. However, for many people it remains a useful media container.

for the time being i prefer it to avi no matter if it is being worked on or not.

matroska might be a good thing to look at in the near future

i will still use ogm even though it has not been worked on for the last year becuase it think it is alot more useful then avi's i.e subtitles, multiple audio streams, more efficient playback).
