Isnt it sad that good old Overmars has had to hang up his boots. He was a quality player. Im looking forward to the Vodafone tournament, although im disappointed that we bring Boca Juniors over for it yet dont actually get to paly them. Yeah, they were pretty decent in their performance for UNited. However, i think that United need to field a strong side against Celtic, or atleast once before they leave America. Id be pretty disappointed to see a team that UNited fielded if i had travelled a lot to see them and it was my only chance to get to a match.
I watched the Brazil v Argentina match as well. Amazing goal from Adriana, its funny to see that a Brazil reserve team can still beat an Argentinian first team. It was undeserved in my opinion though. But, Brazil seem to paly for penalties. They practiced them for 3 days on the trot, which is why you see such good penalties from them.
Its less than 3 weeks to the opening games of the premiership where UNited will hopefully be kicking the ass of Chelsea at the Bridge.
On more somber news, Nicky Butt has eventually left the club he loved. Its a pity that he no longer fitted into the managers scheme of things. I still think it was wrong to elave him out so much though. I hope he plays well for Newcastle and keeps his England place, though it would be sad to see him score against us.....http://www.dvd-backup.tkComment

One of the reasons I supported both Arsenal and Barcelona for a while was Overmars, so it's sad to see him retire so young (at only 31). His performance against United at OT back in 98
Good stuff from Brazil as well. Edu played in all of the games I think, so this has been a very happy year for him (scoring a brace in the Champions League, winning the player of the month award, father to a new born boy, getting his first cap for Brazil, winning the league UNBEATEN, and now his first silverware for his national team - he's on a roll). It's a shame he has to sit on our bench most of the times.Comment

Yeah, Heinze will not be a penalty taker thats for sure. He hit his penalty so far over the bar it landed in the second tier of the stadium. Remember that Edu was only playing in a reserve team Brazil

lol - Im saying nothing at all about that farce. Atleast United are taking drastic action and bringing out a good squad for the final match. They are going about it all the wrong way to try and gain support in America. Alex is a twat. Anyone with a brain knows that u do not bring a group of youngsters claimin to be Manchester United out to America and not win each match. If i was an American and had watched both fo those matches, id be thinking why would i support United?
Less of that slagging United or we'll figure out a way of gettin u banned lol

The time to try out the youngsters wouldve been in the mickey mouse vodaphone cup in my opinion. Its a two match play competition where the youngsters couldve played against good opponents. Its held in Manchester, so we dont need to worry about advertising the match. If i was an American right now, Manchester United would not have sold me......
On another note. I came of me bike today at 25 mph and took the skin right of my right leg. Typically its one day right before i go on hols. So...if your wondering where im at for the next fortnight starting on Sat, it will be in Sunny Portugal....
