Its good to see liverpool doing well this season next season will be our year. what about chelsea then they way they are carrying on they will be the first team to cheat their way to the title i could not believe what i was hearing when drogba was interviewed on m.o.t.d the english game is being dragged into the gutter with players like him and others from a number of different teams kick out the cheats and give footy the rep it deserves

I would love to see the reds at the top of the pile next year, however we would need backing similar to Chelski's to achieve that and so far none has been in evidence.....

However we are improving each season under Rafa and things are looking brighter than under the Houllier years.....

Oh no !! The season is hotting up nicely, Chelski and Man Utd are making a show of a competition for the title, Arsenal might win the Champs lg and LFC might finish higher and closer to the champions than they have in ages and where are admin and oriphus ??

Just back from a short trip to the UK, to watch Arsenal in action at Highbury before it's too late. There's so much at the old stadium that you just can't replace with the new one, although the new one is looking very spectacular and everyone who sees it is amazed at how close it is to Highbury, only across the road it seems.

Still lots to play for for Arsenal, getting 4th and getting past Villarreal in the semis. Man Utd on the (most likely futile) chase of Chelsea, while Liverpool should be confident of securing 3rd. I'm more worried about getting fourth than getting into the Champions League finals, because as far as I'm concerned, we've had a good season in Europe already and it would be a shame if we couldn't continue our run in Europe next season.

If you win the CL Final tho you don't need to worry about qualifying as you would automatically replace the 4th placed team in the Premiership, which is currently Spurs. Talk about get right up their nose if you did it !! ha ha

LFC are still trying to move their ground as well - like you it will be a shame to leave Anfield as the history is all there but its not going to be easy to expand the place so I can see why they need to do it.....

So gonna beat Pompey tonight then admin ? On paper you should do but they are improving now and a relegation fight is spurring them on.

I know, but it would be much better going into the final (*if* we get there, and that's a big if) knowing that 4th place and CL football for next season is already secure, too much pressure otherwise.

Pompey will be up for it - they have hit some good form lately, and the news is we are going to rest 7 players

Mmmm you would have to be disappointed as an Arsenal fan after that....... had loads of chances and blew all but one of them that fell to the master Monsieur Henry.

No wonder Pompey never gave up even at point blank range your strikers were shooting wide/over etc. Hopefully that's just a blip but it's looking more and more like you will have to win the CL now....

I'm still confident. Spurs have a tough run-in which includes Everton away, Man Utd at home (and that's just this weekend!), plus they have to play us at Highbury. Even their remaining games against Bolton and West Ham look a bit tricky. Blackburn is the other danger, but I think they have to play you and Chelsea, so hopefully 6 points dropped there will gives us some breathing room.

Mmm not too many surprises this weekend, LFC beat Blackburn which was good for us but I fear Man Utd are too good now to catch them. I think if we get another win we are guaranteed CL qualification next year.

Not looking forward to the FA Cup Semi this weekend - we never do ourselves justice against Chelski.....

Good luck for your boys tomorrow - I really want Arsenal to make the final this year.

I am not much of a "football" fan myself. But I do watch the World cup. My pick this year will have to be Germany because of the "home" field advantage. It was years ago when I saw Pele kick a goal upside down. It was on almost every highlight reel that day.

Yeah.With Ronaldinho in the type of form he is in,they r clear favourites.Personally though I would love to see the Dutch do well.Over the years theirs have been the best team never to have won the cup.And to u England fans,do u really think Beckham is worthy of the adulation he gets(as a soccer player ofcourse)?I think he is the weakest link in the English side.
