        Basic,
        From a Sinclair ZX81 built from parts in 1982. It was sold in the US as a timex. I wish I knew C++.

            Well, I know these languages:

            VB
            C
            C++
            HTML
            Java

            I did VB at school and know it a fair bit. I did C and HTML in my first year of my degree in computing. I did C++ in the second and final year until i graduated. I also did Java in the first year of my Electronic, Electrical and Software engineering degree. Im not particularily good at it, but i can do a bit. I am now doing a degree in Business IT and i think we are doing a bit of HTML soon (Only started it 4 weeks ago)

                        You will find VB pretty easy to get the hang off. Its great for writing applications for windows.

                            @mps: Yeah i find it pretty cool, very "neat" to show your friends that you can write your own program

                            Well, this is just a simple little thing i created as my first ever program - whoopie!!

                            Tell me what you think (not about my choice of songs )

                              @ "Best Songs":
                              well, pretty nice, although i think you need to work more on the GUI, esp. the user-friendliness factor and on your taste in music however, it is admirable and controversial (is "Gangsta's Paradise" an old school track? )
                              greetings, and waitings for ur next 'productions'

                                Its not bad for your first program, though it is merely pulling data from a cmdButton. Well mdone. Next you will be creating one that allows users to pick their best songs, updates each selection and calculates the actuall best song per genre. Also, try working on a calculator, it can be fun
