            hi there!
there are 3 programs you can get that are free and do a very good job of keeping stuff like that off of your PC "spybot search and destroy" "spywareblaster" and "adawareSE personal" spybot and adawareSE do the actual removals and spywareblaster works in conjunction with spybot to keep the stuff off of your system. another good program to have on your PC is called "HijackThis" you can get it from this site http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

you can use hijackthis to make a log file and post it on a different forum that is very good at helping you to remove scumware and such.
            hope this helps!

FireFox is good, don't get me wrong. It just wasn't for me. I didn't keep it long enough to give you a comparison with Slimbrowser. One reason I picked Slimbrowser over FireFox is, tabbed browsing. By default Slimbrowser automatically creates a new tab for every link or URL you type in manually. FireFox doesn't unless you specify it to.

Saw that installed itself on my PC - but where can I find it? I have searched around but I can't find where you launch it.
