The Weatherman sucketh, however, Micheal Caine was excellent as usual.
The Skeleton Key was pretty good, and a nice twist ending.

Columbus,
Nope.
Give you a hint.
It is a very famous American quoting a very famous European, and comes from a movie I suspect you'd like. Cannot beieve you would not have seen it, unless you are a lot younger than I think you are, since you seem to have seen, but not appreciated, Cool Hand Luke.Comment

Congrats to nwg.
The quote was indeed from the movie Patton, and was said by Gen. Patton.
George C Scott won an oscar for his portayal of Patton, Which by the way he refused to accept.
Surprised some did not know this quote, given the movies popularity.
One last thing, I believe Patton was quoting the Prussian, Frederick the Great, not Napoleon. But not sure.
Can anyone help us on this last point??
This is truly a great site for movie fans. So glad Columbo led me to it.Comment

Napolean full quote (probably took the last bit from Frederick as well).
"Do you know what amazes me more than anything else? The impotence of force to organise anything. There are only two powers in the world: the spirit and the sword. And in the long run the sword will always be conquered by the spirit."
"What a beautiful fix we are in now; peace has been declared."
"A little revolution now and then is a good thing."
"If you want to be a leader of men, you have to cultivate a singular appearance."
"The battlefield is a scene of constant chaos. The winner will be the one that best controls that chaos, both his and that of his enemy."
"L'audace, l'audace, toujours l'audace."
Frederick the Great
