Ok it is the 2005 I thought htis one was better the the first 2 I didnt know there was a part 3 until this thread I havent seen it.

Exorcist 3 is excellent.

The last two movies are the same. Basically, the 2005 film was originally going to be the proper prequal. However, the studios thought the film was not gory and voilent enough. So they sacked the director Paul Schrader and brought in Renny Harlin who decided to re shoot the whole film again. This then became the first prequal that came out in 2004. However, it flopped big time. The studios then decided to release the Paul Schrader version in 2005 anyway. This version is regarded as the proper prequal and is called Dominion: Prequal to the Excorcist. I have only seen this version and it isn't bad. I consider this to the proper prequal and won't see the Renny Harlin version.

@Lt. I didnt know al that I guess the one I have then is the 2004 if the 2005 is a better one I will have to check that out.

I rented Convicted last 2 days ago.

I thought that was pretty good with one of those twist endings.

Its drams not action though

I just saw Saw II. I think the primary reason it did not have the impact of the first film was that Jigsaw was exposed. There no longer was a shroud of mystery surrounding him. Secondly, the fact that you wanted everybody in the house including the cop to die anyway didn't help.

also very true. it would have been nice to see another big actor like glover in there to "soften the cheapness" too

He didnt want EVERYone in that house to die.
he was still trying to teach his sick lessons of life his way.LOL
The mystery in this part was where is the house!

The way it ended I think there will be a part 3 how ever I think a part 3 would get very lame very fast.

I seen Derailed tonight I have to say it wasn't bad a bit disturbing in one part but I liked the story .I myself thought the movie was a little predictable but enjoyable I would rate it 7 out of 10

I am not watching films this week. I will probably start on my new Babylon 5 set I just got from Amazon Germany. For £64, I got all five seasons and all six films in a really nice metal tin.
