the hell with them. it really enrages me all the "controversy" about this movie. reminds me of when the passion of the christ came out (which was great by the way and not anti-semitic). for those people out there who don't like it; don't watch it then and shut your mouth. i am wanting to see it and sure i will like it. the trailers have sold me long ago. who knows, maybe we'll see the posters draped from the vatican one day! i'd hold the ladder for someone.

I just saw The Davinci Code. I liked the book and I also liked the film. May not be a hit with devout Christians. lol Overall an enjoyable film. 4 out of 5 stars.

I can't wait to see it too. But I don't understand why they started with the second book. They should have made a movie out of the first one, Angels and Demons. Much better book. Digital Fortress by Brown was really good too, tech head stuff.

Well looks like The DaVinci Code is on pace to gross around 77 million over the weekend here in the states and over 200 million worldwide

I can't wait to see the Da Vinci Code, read that and Angels And Demons within 10 days - just couldn't put em down !! Also liked Digital Fortress but it wasn't as good as the other two....

Saw that Invasion has been cancelled - thats a shame, its not as good as Lost but I still enjoy it....

i just watched Sophie Scholl last nite - such amazing performances!
extremely moving movie that made me cry! - anyone else seen it??
its about the secret society White Roses; how 3 university students (a brother & sister and a friend) that get caught distributing antiwar flyers at the university and what happened to them because of it. (True)
im not sure if it got an oscar for best foreign film or not, but it did get nominated.

haven't seen it. looks really good and has a very high rating at IMDB. wonder if it would have english subs?

Wonder whatever happened to Patrick Swayze? Don't see him much in movies or anything anymore. He was also good in Ghost, Next of Kin, and a few others.
