Some more recommendations.
I can recommed these Japanese/Korean horror films (especially over the inferior Hollywood remakes).
Ringu
Ringu 2
Ringu 0
Ju-on:The Grudge
Tale of Two Sisters
Phone
The Eye
Dark Water
Audition
The Hollywood vesion of The Ring was actually good but still didn't beat the orginal. The remake of Dark Water was a pale imitation. I recently watched the film Phone and found it very creepy with excellent use of surround sound. It is one to watch in a dark room like Ringu.
A few excellent Asian Thrillers.
Infernal Affairs
Infernal Affairs II
Infernal Affairs III

Thanks
I haven't watched these yet but they get a recommendation from some people. It is being remade by Holloywood as well.
Oldboy
Save the Green Planet
Joint Security Area
Brotherhood
Brotherhood is a kind of "Saving Private Ryan" of the Korean War by the Koreans. A friends actually thinks this is better than SPR. I still need to watch it.
Also I can recommend this martial arts film from Thailand. The stunts are 100% genuine with no wire work or CGI.

I also thought of Bruce Lee while I was watching it. His fighting style was very Bruce Lee like. He could do some nasty punches with his elbows.Comment

Yes he could I know I wouldnt want to be on the other end of that elbow lolComment

ok br7, haven't seen much a DAFT lately....
@jmet, i figured it was crap because i didn't anything good about it, i'll be sure to avoid it.
anyone see the new starwars? nice effects, action scenes. 1, 2 and 3 just don't have the "magic" of the old ones. sam jackson, jimmy smits. always wanted a harrison---but can't happen obviously. the empire strikes back has to be the best one. the old ones IMO are still better, with the old technology!"One day men will look back and say I gave birth to the 20th Century". Jack The Ripper - 1888
Columbo moments...

I have to agree Bewitched didnt look good to me either. As for Star Wars III goes that was a great movie I seen it the first day it came out in theaters. IMO after watching this in the theaters and then seeing it on DVD some parts of the movie dont seem to be as intense as it was in the theaterComment

ROTS was better at home than in the cinema. The sound in the cinema could have been much better at the time. I actually get a bigger picture when considering I sit about 2.5 metres from the screen compared to a lot further at the cinema. I actually have a favourite seat where I am in the middle of the surround sound and at the right height with the screen.
I like all of the Star Wars films. I gew up watching them. I saw four of them at the cinema. ROTJ was the first one back in 1983.Comment
