The Departed is quite excellent. I remember doing a search after having seen it and was surprised the only mentions of it were pre-release. I was stunned to say the least.

Nicholson is the weakest link in the whole thing, which should tell you how good it is. Even at his worst he's still worth watching usually.

As much as it pains me to say it Leo and Damon gave great performances. But everyone was solid. Wahlberg, Baldwin, even Sheen to an extent. One of the few films, especially as of late, where I truly felt entertained at the end.

"Invincible" I loved this movie... Worth watching for the music alone.

They are good prices but I already have those.

I just watched Superman Returns and it was a good film but, I thought it would be better. I am re-watching Slither next.

I thought "Copland" was a very good movie it was one of Stallones better movies. And with Robert De Niro and Ray Liotta being in it helped it a great deal. Nacho Libre wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. As for MHM I never seen it but I do agree with you on Napoleon Dynamite

Well I have to say The departed in the sense that I was expecting so much more and the movie simply did not go anywhere for me.

Well sure Scorcese films aren't for everyone. His films are almost always love it or hate it, rarely any middle ground.

But having watched Infernal Affairs, I just appreciate his story telling abilities that much more. And it's cool seeing where he was influenced and where he put his own style into it. The character development in The Departed is far superior, in my humble little opinion. You know almost up front who the players are and what their motivations are. Then you just ride along wondering where it's all going to go.

Meh...hopefully this can pick back up in March after more people have seen it. Surely don't want to spoil any of it. I'll just say the ending is extremely more satisfying than IA's was.

Cop Land is #4 worst movie ever? You must watch some really great movies. I must have seen a few hundred worse then that in my years of viewing.

Just watched "Little Miss Sunshine" . I was greatly surprised by how much I liked this movie. Good cast and good writing.. May not be to everyones taste in comedy, but worth a watch on a rainy day..

I thought this one was a bit slow but the ending was funny.

In England, ITV have shown them like that. One time they did something very odd, they started with Die Another Day and worked their way backwards to Dr No. Don't ask me why, ITV are living with a head full of rocks each.
