history of violence was rather unique, same for eastern promises

they both left me wanting more to the movies but the director has a lot of potential

a friend who saw No Country said it was artsyfartsy with a poor ending but still a decent movie compared to what else is out there right now

I have seen it, thought it was well done. Surprised to hear it was a waste of $$ though, with some of the junk being released. Obviously opposite ends of the movie taste dept. as I thought AHOV was good too.

Coen Brothers have a different writing style no doubt, but Fargo, The Big Lebowski etc are some of my favs.

no doubt the theme regarding lee retiring and the new school of criminals was good, and the action too, but these guess the ending soprano stuff has to go.

yes those two are on my favs list also. i take fargo out every once in a while.

well there's alien vs. predator the sequel coming. what are we gonna do?

Stallone ran out of material and Rambo's coming out again. maybe he should run for president, give Arnold a run for his power and politics.

well "i am legend" was 2 me "i wasted 12 bucks again." at some point they have 2 stop certain actors from improvising, and if they do, delete the obvious. there was really no room 4 smith's jokes in that movie imo. really don't care 4 much of his work.

the mist was 2 me better, and a throw back at that.

now if you want your money to count go see Alien VS. Predator R. that Predator goes all out this time. no holds bar. i won't spoil it 4 those who haven't seen it. counting the days until it's released. Reminded me of Viktor, and Marcus from "underworld" when they got crazy and went into all out seek, and destroy mode.

next on my list is mab "Clover Field", and definitely the new "Batman" coming out. the previews 4 the cape crusader were awesome. 4 comedy i'm probably going 2 check out the funny "Spartan Movie". the previews cracked me up.

charlie's war was a little hard to follow but not as difficult as the good shepherd
