It is my regular computer hooked up to a Panasonic PTAE 100 projector. I have a 80" 16:9 screen in front of it.
I use a VGA switchbox to switch between my monitor and the projector. I use PowerDVD to play the DVD's while changing my resolution. I set my resolution from 1024 x 768 to 848 x 480. This enables me to match the resolution of the projector exactly 1:1.
I also have DVD's ripped to 200GB external hard disk and I can use it like a video jukebox. I am also going to get a 300GB hard disk as they have started to come down.

I tried ffdshow with Theatertek. I get better results with just using PowerDVD 6. I realised it wasn't worth it with the projector I had. It would downscale to the 848 x 480. I would also require a better spec'd computer.Comment

What made matters worse is that the Desktop tab in Display Properties dialog was taken out so i couldn't change it. Anyways, I got that sucker fixed and eradicated that trojan. Be aware people, this virus is very new.2CL C Henshin!
