hey anonymez, guess what this one website i usually go is not made for IE7 and its not working so instead i uninstall i choose to install firefox, so im using it, though that website gave me error first u need IE to use the site
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!
dude lets make ur facts straight , that was just for one website and thats it, i use firefox for tht site cause ie7 is too new for that site and beta also....not to mension ie7 is bit faster if not too fast then firefox 1.5.
also firfox has 2 annoynses for me...
1: have to right click to open new tab
2: what ever i open in new tab it shifted to that new tab thats annoying if i dont want to goto that tab yet.
ie7 doesnt do both of that.

1. use the middle mouse button to open any link in a new tab, you can also use it to close any tab.
2. as default, that doesn't happen. you've changed it in the options
unless ie7 does segmented downloading of pages/text/images (which i don't think it does), it will not be faster than firefox. any differences will be because the gui/responsivness of either program

not talking bout GUI stuff, pages load / complete faster in IE7 Beta but just little bit fast matter of few secs.
though firefox start showing contents faster, but complete page done is faster in ie7

when you browse cetain sites, once or twice, the images get into the browser's cache. firefoxe's cache was empty, it was downloading the page format for the first time. you've been using ie a lot, a large portion of the pages you visit are already on your hard disk. there shall be no difference in speed if you choose to use firefox as your main browser

IMHO, it's absolutely Mozilla Firefox. I've been using Firefox for almost a year now and no longer want to use IE again except for windows update. Beside being faster, Firefox comes with nice feature like Tabbed Browsing, read downloadable text document without the need of downloading, just name a few.
