Timothy Dalton was the best and most like the books. He wasn't cracking jokes like Connery or Moore but a serious assassin/killer (from the books I read a long time ago).
MY favourite films are Live and Let Die, Goldeneye and The Living Daylights.
Doe anyone know who was the first Bond (it wasn't Connery or even David Niven (Casino Royale - Jimmy Bond). No Googling.

Casino Royale is a bit confusing in that there are three Bonds. Jimmy Bond was Woody Allen. Peter Sellers was young James Bond 007 and Niven was the older James Bond.

Didn't the name Bond come from the brand of paper (BOND) Ian was typing on as he started writing his first JB novel?
Oh, and Connery was by far the best James Bond....at least in my opinion, but they all were good! Hard choices!Blessed are they who expect nothing, for they shall not be disappointed!Comment
