I remember I was in grade 8 or 9 when Licience to Ill came out and I thought the Beastie Boys were the greatest thing!.. I still love 'Brass Monkey'! They sure did change through the years tho...
I really never did get into Pink Flyod tho..outside of Brick in the Wall and maybe Hey You...I just got a cover version of Brick by marilyn Manson..kinda good but their is a canadain kinda bluesgrassy band called Luther Wright and the Wrongs who covered the entire Wall album..damn good..you should check it out if you like Flyod

Way way back in the day I remember this club we used to go to.It was downstairs in this building and the walls were stone.I am talking actual rock so when the place was crowded and Deep Purple, Ten Years After. Pink floyd etc was blaring the walls would actually sweat.

Hmmm... the Beastie Boys are good... heard Fight for the Right on the radio the other day.

"And when I'm gone, just carry on, rejoice, whenever you hear the sound of my voice. Just know that I'm looking down and you're smiling, and I can't feel a thing, so baby don't feel my pain" (from Eminem's new hit, When I'm Gone)

A friend saw them in atlanta at a free concert they gave in piedmont park
when they first started touring/jamming together.
