the easiest way to insert your picture, however, is via this forums icons when using the reply function:

now you have inserted the picture

in order to turn this picture into a hyperlink, mark the entire [img]...[/img] part again and press the "insert link" icon

in the upcoming window paste/type in your url like for example: www.disney.com

the second picture can be clicked - it is a hyperlink now

In fact, if you click that link and enter the url you get back to post 1 - how to hyperlink easily. It's in the fast reply box, too

okay so whats the code for going straight to a post made by a particular person, lets say, if its in the middle of the page or end. I want to go straight to that post and not scroll down.

Nah - better is to click "link" and copy and paste it into a link url

Such as:

That way, you get the whole thread.

Chewy, he still wants to see the whole thread, he just wants to go straight to that specific post without having to scroll to find it.

In that case, he just needs to click the "Link" button at the bottom right of the post and copy that URL.

For inserting images in to post I use:

Im having problems trying to figure this out, useally if i attach a image i use the paper clip in the reply box but if i use that it only makes a thumbnail view, so then my other opption is to go through image shack. Whats this about above that i quoted??

to create that link, I just typed test, then highlighted it, I had opened google
and copied the address bar, I then selected the "insert link" and pasted into
that window.

I was embarrased to ever ask for months, knew it had to be so simple.

That's what I do as well it's my favorite feature on the boards.

Now how do you make your photos larger in your post? I know I can go to imageshack and copy/paste the link but I have no control over the size.
